BG: alright then frist qestion how old are you?

SY: I'm 18, going 19 in may

BG: what was the first thing you wrote or oral story told?

SY:The first story I wrote was a fanfic. It was a fushigi yuugi fanfic.
That's when I first even realized that fanfics exsisted!
That was back in 7th grade - so long ago!

BG: How has your writing changed since then?

SY: Oh wow...haha, well, I was very bad with grammar and spelling, I think I still am...but I definitely improve there...or so I hope. Haha. Uhm, I think I gotten a lot more eloquent too; word savvy and such. But I still have lots to improve on.

BG: Let's talk about fandom you're a huge KH girl (as am i) what about KH compels you to write fic?

SY: Well, I guess it's the fact that there's a lot of hints that I saw. With the first game, Yaoi didn't even cross my mind till I played it again. I thought it was sad how Riku and Sora got split up and so...my brain clicked. Then with the second game, fans got more things to work with. Like the dealings with the "heart" and "nobodies"...it was a very ambiguous subject. So, that brought a whole new depth to the stories that would come from writers of the fandom!

BG: Also i find there is a lot of...fun to be had there Roxas. He's a very complex person; who is he really? I think the truth lies somewhere between his cold org personality and his TT sweet dazed personality ..what's your take on Roxas?

SY: Ah...Roxas...Yeah, he is a very colorful guy to be sure haha. Uhm, the difference you see of him, when he is in the org and when he is in twilight town is very different! I felt so sad/bad for him when he had to disappear! I thought that it was very messed up that he had to...sacrafice himself for Sora. You know...? And leave his friends, both in the org and in TT, behind. But I think that you can do a lot with him. You can make him with Axel, sad and tragic, or with Sora ((in my case)) bitter and sarcastic, his character can go either way. All in all, I really like him. There's just a lot to work with with Roxas ^^

BG: I concur he's a lot fun to work with.

SY: haha yeah he is xD the funny thing about axel/roxas is that - I hated them as a pair at first

BG: why was that?
most pll think they are perfect

SY: Haha, well, at first I hated Roxas in as a whole! xD I thought he was a wanna-be Sora and stuff and that Axel and him should just be really good friend...but I think mostly because the first 6 days was HORRIBLE! xD But...when I played the 2nd game again...I was watching the part where Axel disappears and it just CLICKED! I was like "OH MY GOD! AXEL AND ROXAS SHOULD BE TOGETHER!!" haha. Sometimes it takes a 2nd time

BG: where do you get your ideas form?

SY: The majority of my ideas come from the songs I listen too. In fact...all the stories I am writing now are all derived from songs! xD Songs and real life experiences, I try to put my own experiences in a lot of my stories ^^

BG: What bands help you write?

SY: Haha, well...I listen to A LOT of different music...from Japanese Pop, to Korean Pop...to American songs...I can't narrow any bands down...but I have used Namie Amuro...Ayumi Hamasaki, Paulina Rubio...The Cat Empire...a lot of this and that, bands no one has even heard of probably haha

BG: Why yoai what about men in love appeals more to you then man/woman?

SY: Er...hm...I think...because Men/women is so typical, it's written everywhere. Men/men is so taboo, so I think I just like writing stuff that would freak out the person walking down the street.

BG: so do you like being a rebel?

SY:For the most part...yes. But I'm too shy and modest to be a full on rebel...but I have my moments

BG:In 5 words sum up yourself

SY:I'm not what I seem

BG: good one

BG: are you seeing anyone?

SY:that's a hard one! Haha, I would say yes I am

BG:ohh ...why is it hard to tell?

SY:It's difficult to explain...haha. It's sorta you have to live my life to understand

BG:tell me a little about your family

SY:Well...My mom is vietnamese and my dad is hmong. A lot of people will ask "What is hmong?" and all I can say is "Google it" x3 I have a lil sister who has axel/roxas on her cell phone as a wallpaper...and...that's about it haha.
Oh yeah my lil sis is 9

BG:ha ha my lil sister makes jokes about tieing up her bf and busting out kinves and candle wax...and she's 15

SY:Haha yeah, but I hope it's not bad she's already getting to know yaoi xD I think it's a rather good thing...but that's just me haha

BG: How do you feel about fans?

SY: Well, my readers...It's pretty awesome to have people read my work. Whether it be my fanfics or my original stories. It's encouraging and it's awesome when I see the same readers in different stories. It means I'm doing something good! I really love all my readers...they're part of the reason why I write...it's pretty cool to be called "a great writer" and "I love your work" and stuff. It's very flattering and...haha, so I keep trying to push out even better stories for them and myself

BG: Do you feel you're like the chars you work with?

SY:Oh yeah...a lot of the times, haha. I put a little piece of me in each character even if it is a fanfic. That way I can identify with the situation I put them in and know how to make them react. I think everyone puts a lil bit of them in any characters they write...just a lil at most haha.

BG: Do you want to be a 'real' writer?

SY:uhm...I'd like to try and do freelance work. My goal is to publish at LEAST one story ^^

BG:who do you admire as a writer on site and printed?

SY:On site? I really like orangeiwllow and miko's works. I was really impressed at miko's writting. She's very eloquent and Orange's stories are always so full of life and they make me chuckle. I was very honored that she dedicated a story to me ^///^

Hm...well, I like a lot of authors...but I guess the usual anne rice, stephen king...my friend's told me I would like iris johanson ((was it?)) and dean koontz and james patterson...so I'll be looking into them haha...but...I usually dun look at author's THAT MUCH...unless it's someone I know I like...but I like to look at story plots too

BG:fave food?

SY:haha, definitely asian foods in general...and I have an immense weakness for mexican food and curry...curry and cheesecake...>.<

BG: What's your fave cuss word?

SY:hm...I dunno...I think maybe shit...or maybe "fucking shit!" i say that a lot...so I guess a hybrid of those two? "Fushit!"

BG:What do you want to hear God say if you get into heaven and there is a god?

SY:God...? Uhm...I dunno...I guess welcome...it would sort of suck if he just points and laughs at you and says "DENIED!"

BG:or wrose yet..."FAIL!"

SY: because you know...god is black...or a chick ((like in dogma! heart that movie! Dogma!))

BG: What pisses you off about yoai sterotypes and such that crop up

SY:Well...I HATE cliche after sex confessions...I hate when after they have sex they say "I love you..." - that just isn't real to me...I hate rape stories...unless it's part of the plot...like if they were in a gang - then ok...yeah, w/e...Uhm, I HATE girly men...may as well just written a hetero story...>.< I also ABHOR fanfic/stories with random japanese like "That is so kawaii!" and "You're such a baka!" it irks me to no end! I speak japanese ((5th year student)) so it just makes me twitch...I also don't like it when something totally random happens...like "Oh its the end...cool - NO WAIT! A METEOR IS NNOW HURLING TOWARDS THEM - THEY NEED SEX!" I just don'tunderstand that...OOC is fine for me because since it's a fanfic, it's going to be OOC anyways...^^;; but that's basically it...

SY: I'm pretty much fine with anything...just nothing too bizzare...haha ^^;;

SY: haha no - that I can understand - but you dun wanna have sex and then go "Do you love me?" and then like my answer would be "SHouldn't you have asked me that BEFORE we had sex...?" - I mean, i dun mind it that much, but I just dun use it in my stories ^^;;; I would like to know before hand that the person loved me and then have sex rather than have sex and the person didn't love me...

BG: Anything you wanna say?

And...next news........my friend is trying to hook me up with this guy named D....Di.....i do NOT know how to spell is name - but they call him D. OwO It all started when I went to the mall with my friend Chris. We were actually dropped off there...so it was me and Chris  walkinga round mission valley and  he was like:

"Oh my god, I know people here, let's go say hi~"

so we went to go say hi to one of his friends at this phone booth stand thing. Across from the booth was Comics n  Stuff, so NATRAULLY I look at it and see they have a Sora wall scroll hanging ((I had it already hahahahaha)) and I thought "I should point that out". So I did, I was like "Hey~ kingdom hearts"

So Chris goes, "She's a kingdom hearts freak."

and his friend, Richard, was like "No way, really?" and I'm like "Yeah...I am..." >.> xD and then he freaks out and asks seriously, "Do you have a boyfriend?"

and I'm like "...no" immediately I thought "...SHIT! I know what he is gonna do next"

and I was right.

"Oh my god! Ok, you have to meet my roomate, we call him D. He is a kingdom hearts fan too, you two would get along." and then Chris freaks out and says the same and they are all "Yeah! Let's do it! Hook them up!"

and Richard gives me D's number and then Chris brilliantly goes, "WHy not just call him now?" so Richard does and I talked to the guy. He sounded cool and all but~~

4. He's too gangsta for my taste ((he answers his phone "Baller~~~something something I couldn't understand"))

I still need to register for japanese class - but it seems like my transcript hasn't gone through yet - god damn it!

The teacher is my high school teacher!! So I was like "Schweet" at least I now ONE of my teachers ((that is if I get registered for japanese >.>))

I got this freakin email from the financial aid saying I need to fill out MORE forms to prove I graduate - I git my effing diploma - wnat me to show you?? God damn it. Some part of me is like "Will I even start this fall?" I sometimes doubt it with how incompetent these freaking people are D<

So on a happier note - I decided to start writing again. Writing several stories, a Kingdom Hearts/Devil May Cry cross over. I got reviews saying it's effing hilarious - so that's awesome, it's called 'Devil Hearts'. Another Kingdom Hearts one called 'French Vanilla'. =] It's a more realistic setting story - AkuRoku. And an Original story that I plan to release soon on fictionpress sometime. The only one up is Devil Hearts - French Vanilla I'm gonna wait till I finish writing it to post.

My orginal story is about a blind boy. Blind or deaf I haven't decided yet. I think deaf would be easier to write since blindness I can only do so little with. Yaoi of course.

I started my Namine outfit - cut out the pattern is all. I gotta get my measurements to start cutting and cloth though. Should be easy. I plan to have it done hopefully bu the end of the year.

Uh,life is going ok, I sometimes find myself just thinking about all that has happen recently. A lot has happen. For better or worse, I don't know. It's hard. Going through what I am going through, but what can I do. Most of the things I am going through, can't be helped by me. Meaning, it's all on the other people's decsion on how they want things to go ((effing college people!!!)) so...yeah. Can't do anything on my side, I played all my cards and now it's their turn ((....fucking college people))
